I can sadly claim that I’m prob the only person ever who’s had to describe in detail Anne’s real dresses to the lost mail services with tears streaming down my face.

They became the bride of adventure going to unknown places for two damn weeks.

But now they’re here!

This little gray dress could be from season 1 or 2. It came with undershirt and bloomers. And has hand stitched details y’all. It fluffs out on its own which is adorbs. +

This skirt is a lie y’all.
They are actually pants! Well, skirt in front and pants in back.
And it’s a heavy, scratchy, bulky fabric. I’m gonna say prob not fun to wear in the summer.
And no, I couldn’t get that skirt closed. Our girl is super Petite!

Y’all, this night shirt was worn in the very last scene so it’s super special to me. It’s also got amazing details on it. I can’t decide if this was sewn for the show, bought, or is actually vintage.
Has a little tag inside that says “A”. +

Sorry about the wrinkles. I’m too scared to iron these.
These are hand embroidered. HAND EMBROIDERED! And there are buttons for days. And modern day cheat snaps.
And again, to be clear, our petite girl is smaller than my dress form. Sorry for the fit. +

And my favorite and most expensive item: The house apron.
Did you know it’s actually a pillowcase? The side with the lace is the case opening. It’s hand embroidered. And is the sweetest thing ever! +

Random fact! This pinafore has white paint drips on it!
I’ve never been so excited to see paint on clothing before! +

And now for the “What the heck?” section of my AWAE costume haul. In case you were wondering, no I don’t think they washed this stuff. Are these @AmybethMcnulty socks with genuine Canada dirt? I’ll never know. Who’s garden gloves? Handkerchief? And like whyyyyyy??? Why? +

Glad these made it through the mail and I will preserve the costumes forever. Well maybe not the socks.

I’ve zero idea if these were actually screen used, or worn by someone else. So, I’ll just appreciate them for the works of art that they are, and the story they were part of.
