Rappers and their primes, a thread:

In this thread, I'll be stating what I believe to be each rapper's prime.

This is all very subjective so feel free to disagree.
RTs appreciated
Nas (1994-1996)
Probably the best prime of all time, Nas was a beast during these 3 years with the release of Illmatic and It Was Written
Jay-Z (1996-2003)
RD, Vol. 1, The Dinasty, Blueprint, TBA. 5 great projects with top notch rapping and production.
Eminem (1999-2003)
The release of 3 phenomenal albums and having great features really defines how good of a prime he had
GZA (1993-1995)

The best rapper in Wu-Tang Clan, had some of the best verses on 36 Chambers and delivered a masterpiece with Liquid Swords
Mos Def (1998-1999)

Great rapper with an even greater discography, BOBS is one of the best albums oat.
Outkast (1996-2000)

Arguably the best 3 album run of all time with Aquemini, ATLiens and Stankonia.
Kendrick Lamar (2012-2016)

Great releases (GKMC, TPAB, UU), great features. Not much to say
Freddie Gibbs (2014-present)

Man just doesn't miss.
MF DOOM (2004)

Madvillainy and Mm.. Food, both in the span of a year.
Drake (2011-2015)

Take Care, Nothing Was The Same and IYRTITL. 3 great projects back to back to back. One of the strongest primes.
