What came first-- the "soy" meme in reality-- people started to notice it everywhere-- it had become a "meme."
This "meme" was called the "Soy Boy"-- a cliche.
Then, "Soy Boy" became an Archetype-- the subjects of the naive meme were brought to self-consciousness.

What "the Left can't meme" really means is-- "The Left doesn't produce cliches"-- what the Left does is produce archetypes-- by becoming aware of the cliches produced by the Right (generally speaking), & consciously affirming them.
"The Left are walking cliches"-- to the Right-- but they are a bit more complicated-- they become Self-Conscious Cliches or Archetypes. (this of course happens all over the political spectrum, but this is the phenomenon we realize as "laundering right wing memes" or w/e).
What this means is that "memeing" (producing cliches) does not alter the material conditions that produced the possibility of the "meme" ("soy" posting hasn't hurt the soy industry)-- all it does is accelerate the normalization of the post-critical stance- providing Full Purchase
It's like this-- X is unacknowledged-- Anti-X acknowledges it, thinking that acknowledging X will lead to elimination of X-- but what happens is that Anti-Anti-X just, going forward, sells X as Anti-Anti-X-- selling both X & the post-critical stance toward X.
Unacknowledged Truth: "All these *Leftists* are just Liberals who vote Democrat & will vote Biden no matter what"
Recognized Cliche: "Because I am a Leftist, I vote Democrat & will vote Biden no matter what."
Self-Conscious Archetype: "Yes-chad.jpg"

Basically-- by "showing the hypocrisies" you only provide the edifice for the production of an ideology which is aware of the hypocrisy, but transcends its own self-criticism, to reaffirm its basic premise-- but this time, consciously.
To continue the last example-- Self-Conscious Archetype "Leftist" here will say-- "This is true Leftism, as we have defined, the Left is voting for the Democrats &c"-- this is then the fulcrum to say "By your own critical definition of a leftist, you aren't one"-- lmao
Basically-- all that the "meme wars" of 2014 to now have done is complicate the ideological justifications for the issues that spawned the "meme wars" -- the "right" may have learned how to produce new cliches-- but the "left" gets to reify them as archetypes.
We're stripping back all the subtext & making it surface text.
This is the 2020s-- everything will be seen clearly for what it is-- & because of this fact (as in a Panopticon)-- it will function all the better for it.

Slavoj has a bit about Santa Claus functioning without belief in it-- but it's a bit more than that-- Santa Claus can only function when *explicitly* people (parents) know that Santa Claus isn't real-- if they really believed, why, you see how it wouldn't function lol
What the Archetype is-- is the Parent who says "I believe in Santa Claus even more than my Child does-- because I know Santa Claus isn't real, & I work to produce the reality of Santa Claus consciously"
I always ask this question:
Does the Authentic Hypocrite know himself to be one?
Does the Authentic Hypocrite know himself to be one?
"I believe in the Left even more than "the Left" (the "class reductionist tankie post-left" other such boogiemen) does-- because I know "The Left" isn't real, & I work to produce the reality of "The Left" consciously, by holding Bimbler Accountable, & Doing the Work"
