1. Enter conversations with knowledge! Below is the U.S. Federal Election Commission Voting Systems Standards for the desired accuracy and the allowed accuracy of voting systems employed in federal elections.

Desired: 1 error in 10 MILLION
Allowed: 1 error in 500,000
2. FEC Voting System Standards: 3.2.1(d)

"For each processing function indicated above, the system shall achieve a target error rate of no more than one in
10,000,000 ballot positions, with a maximum acceptable error rate in the test process of one in 500,000 ballot positions"
3. How many of you believe the 2020 election "errors" exceeded the allowed - 1 error per 500,000 votes?

Quick math. If 150 MILLION Americans voted, 1 error per 500k votes would allow for a maximum of just 300 errors...TOTAL.

But, another section is at complete odds with this.
4. "Section 3.2.5.2 Ballot Reading Accuracy - To ensure accuracy, paper-based systems shall:

c. Reject ballots that meet all vendor specifications at a rate not to exceed 2 percent."

In my opinion, if the system can reject a perfectly good ballot, that's an error, right?
5. If there were 150 MILLION paper ballots and it rejected up to 2% of them, that's 3 MILLION perfectly filled out ballots that the system is "allowed" to reject without scrutiny or repercussion. That's a LOT of people who's Constitutional Rights could be completely ignored!
6. And, 3 MILLION votes could easily be the deciding factor in an election. Don't forget, these ballots also contain all applicable candidates for seats up for election. So, you could have Senate, House, Governor and other seats lost with a 3 million "throw away" tolerance.
7. What about ballot retention? Recounts can't be completed because some ballots were already destroyed?

"3.2.6.2.3 Memory Stability
DRE system memory devices used to retain control programs and data shall have demonstrated error-free data retention for a period of 22 months."
8. @CodeMonkeyZ may find this interesting.

"4.2 Software Design and Coding Standards - The software used by voting systems is selected by
the vendor and not prescribed by the Standards."

There's a whole litany of requirements the software must meet and it must be secure.
9. The Voting System Standards demands a secure and impenetrable system but there are also allowances for ignoring votes altogether. But, sections 4, 5 and 6 focus primarily on protocols. This is a 170 page .pdf set of standards...light reading for Anons!

10. If all of these standards are so exacting and demanding, then why have so many voting machine systems failed and been deemed unsafe or unacceptable by so many states in so many elections? You can Google voting machine problems and a trove of returns comes back.
11. So, if it's good for the goose it's good for the gander, right? But, what if the goose says its NOT good, but the gander thinks it IS good? Example: at least 24 states used Dominion Voting Systems. But, Texas refused the machines citing NUMEROUS problems. I'll show you.
12. This letter is from BRANDON HURLEY. He was appointed by the Texas Secretary of State as a voting systems examiner under TEXAS ELECTION CODE § 122.035

He cites a vast number of reasons for rejecting Dominion machines for Texas' 2020 elections.

https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/forms/sysexam/jan2019-hurley.pdf
13. If you read fake news articles about this incident they'll tell you Texas refused Dominion machine because of efficiency. That's a bold-faced lie. As you can see by Mr Hurley's own words, he rejected Dominion for everything from a lack of operability to failures in security.
14. What's my point in showing you Hurley's letter? This man was employed by the Texas Secretary of State to inspect and test Dominion's systems and the equipment and software did not measure up to Texas' standards.

So...why did they measure up to 24 other state's standards?
15. If one state says this system will not provide us with a fair and competent election, that should put that system out of availability in all other states! Why is there not an industry standard in place to protect one of our most sacred Constitutional Rights?
16. But, there is a standard. The Voting System Standards should guarantee total accuracy and accountability, right? And, shouldn't there be verbage prohibiting Voting System companies from supporting political candidates?

Conflict of interest much? https://twitter.com/40_head/status/1327852996953141249?s=20
17. I didn't want to make this thread all about Dominion voting systems. I wanted to educate you. A lot of people are ignorant of the facts but that never stops them. Now, you've got sauce for your next conversation with those folks.
