...my next step will be to do a deep dive with a #critical discourse analysis and attempt to interpret communication patterns (i.e. using a sociopolitical context to understand motivations/meanings) through a #masculinities and hegemonic #masculinity framework.

I don't know yet what I will find. However, this research is illustrating:
(1) the importance of qualitative research - quant data can conceal more than reveal
(2) research - even critical research, is much more careful than your average grifter wants to recognize.
