The divide between Aloha Gang and most of Rose Twitter cut deep in the 2020 primary election cycle. Aloha Gangs candidate backed Rose Twitters candidate in 2016 during a key time when others wouldn’t — sacrificing everything she had built to do so and come 2020, Rose Twitters
candidate decided to jump into the race after Aloha Gangs candidate had already been in the race. When in the race, coming to a point where there were only 3 candidates left (Tulsi, Joe & Bernie) the DNC did everything they could to continue keeping Tulsi off that debate stage
while Bernie said he and Biden were the only candidates left in the race — failing to acknowledge Tulsi even once. THEN, after Bernie was about to lose to Biden, Rose Twitter jumped onto Tulsi and her supporters for throwing her endorsement behind Biden (she said she would always
back the eventual nominee and since Bernie would do what he did with Hillary in 2016 — no sense wasting time and endorsing Bernie. I mean, her supporters must have not been relevant anyways since he didn’t acknowledge her existence as one of the final three in the race.
