Y’all ever think about the inherent limitations of sun signs / birthdays, where the proximity of the inner planets to the sun means that they’ll never be further than a few signs away?

You’re never going to get a Taurus with a Virgo Mars, for example, or a Sag Sun w Pisces Venus

I know most astrologers on here already know this, with the thema mundi and correspondence of planets to aspects based on their distance from the sun

It just makes me sad you can’t have wilder combinations in a birth chart! Like, a person with Mercury trine the Sun

Anyway, I’m constantly thinking about the sign overlap by seasons, where Geminis so often have Cancer and Leo placements, and won’t really ever have planets in signs like Sagittarius and Capricorn - unless it’s a more distant planet, or the moon

It makes me wonder whether Sun signs tend to get along with / understand their neighbor signs because they’re likely to have a Mercury, Venus, or Mars placement in one of those signs.
