Any mention of 10 million people being racially profiled? No. But there is this. I feel reassured.
EXHIBIT TWO: The ICO Report
What do we find here?

Oh, here it is, on page 11 of 21—buried, almost exactly in the middle of the report.
No mention of whether this profiling was unlawful, or if it has stopped. No guidance or recommendation to constrain future profiling practices.

Almost as if @ICOnews did not really want to be associated with a story about @Conservatives racially profiling 10,000,000 people
Let us remind ourselves:

(1) The @ICOnews is an independent regulator

(2) It must apply the rules to everyone, equally

(3) If it finds rule breaking, it must enforce against it
By burying this news in a long report, @ICOnews has risked further damage to its reputation.

It may think it has avoided a political skirmish and creating enemies it is scared of, but that is not the calculation of a regulator.

It has a job—just one job—REGULATE.
