The vast majority of #antibiotics produced in the world today are given to animals, and the use of antibiotics in animal ag is projected to grow by almost 70 percent between 2010 and 2030. This steady stream of antibiotics contributes to the development of superbugs. 2/5
But can we can meet the rising global demand for protein with methods that don’t require chronic use of antibiotics! We just need to rethink the way we make meat. 3/5
