THREAD
Today is #TransDayOfRemembrance
and #WorldChildrensDay. I'm thinking about trans kids who aren't supported by family, who are pushed to live in a society where gender is assumed and determined by outward appearance and genitals. You deserve to be yourself, loved and safe.

If you know a child who's struggling with their gender. Be there for them, even if the people around them are not. It could literally save their life.
I'm so grateful for my trans friends who open up to me and directly call me out when I've used the wrong pronouns or their dead name. If you have someone in your life who's trans, listen to them and learn from your mistakes. They don't owe you politeness or education.
