Let me explain to you how "grifting" works. Grifters don't say things that they know will upset their own audience. That's the opposite of grifting. A media grifter only says what his audience will agree with. Never challenges their assumptions. Never takes risks.

If you're accusing someone of "grifting" because they've risked audience blowback to air an unpopular opinion, you have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Look for the conservative media people who never get any blowback from their audience. Those are the grifters.

A lot of conservatives think that the people who've been pandering to them for four years are the trustworthy ones, and the people who've tried to be honest and taken hits because of it are the con artists. It's exactly backwards. You couldn't be more wrong.
