Explaining how Pucci IS black with simple biology and science because y'all haven't been listening in lessons ; a thread

Number one thing that's pointed out is that Pucci has biological parents who are both white. Here's how this works in science:
Humans have 46 chromosomes arranged into 23 pairs. Every DNA has alleles. Alleles are different forms of the same gene.-

Alleles can be dominant (when on diagram written in a capital letter) or recessive (lower case letter). Recessive alleles can be overdriven by dominant ones, which means recessive gene will NOT be visible. You can calculate the probability of these characteristics in an offspring

Now, skin has more complex alleles, here's the full diagram if anyone is interested, but the main point is, if you carry a certain gene, there is always a probability that it may show in your offspring

So this means that although white, one or both of his parents had a close relative who was black, most likely Puccis grandparents, which means Pucci not only has black skin but most likely a black heritage too.

Does that mean the white side of his family is "black"?
No. They are white. It would be different if they all had a condition called albinism, but they clearly don't, they are white because they got the white dominant or majority recessive genes passed onto them.

In conclusion: don't be stupid, Pucci is black

Just to add; race is defined by PHYSICAL TRAITS that Pucci clearly has, unlike his family, because of the genotype that he was passed on. That's literally it.
