Easy to think #footballindex is horrific right now, knowing the 'profit' we had before. But I think to all move forward together, everyone needs to try not to focus on their current losses. Which can be tough, especially when we feel a lot of the blame lies with FI. But... (1/2)
Everyone has roughly dropped the by same price (apart from our really bad bets). So, don't be afraid to swallow what looks like a loss on paper, if you can get on another player who you might fancy today and may win you more divs...
You may feel trapped by losses because you can't sell a player for £1.50 because he was once worth £3, but you really aren't. If prices hadn't dropped, I would guess most would be happy to sell at their old prices to get on another equally expensive player...
By doing so you would actually be paying a lot more in commission anyway and the divs on offer are still the same. The fact we can now trade again is infinitely better than what we have had for the last 2 months and if you can afford to put a few more pounds in...
you can take advantage of ridiculous yields that have not been seen on #footballindex before - At least since I joined in 2018. I actually think the mass refresh that went on on Thursday was great for the platform as it will have turned a lot of reds to 'fake' greens...
Who knows when it will get back to where it was in terms of market cap. It may be a good few months. But I do think it will get there eventually and we will be able to milk the divs for all they're worth in between and reinvest in these rock bottom prices while they're available!
