When talking about China, the conclusion you draw from an observation must be the opposite of what one would normally conclude

Take an observation, and then draw the opposite conclusion from it.

Or, observe what the US does, and then conclude that China did it.

There are more mosques in China (39,000) than in the US, and more mosques per Muslim in Xinjiang (24,000) than churches per Christian in England

CONCLUSION:
China is demolishing mosques in Xinjiang and destroying Uyghur culture

Overall, democracies are doing far worse with COVID-19, compared to "authoritarian" countries like China and Vietnam
