I wanted to show that bullying can happen to anyone, for no good reason, that it doesn't have to involve physically hurting someone, and that it's really hard to just "stand up to your bullies" by yourself and make them stop. There is no magic cure for bullying #AntiBullyingWeek
Something I learnt in my research is the power of bystanders: peers, who are neither bully nor victim, who see what's happening. Just by being on the victim's side, by being kind to them, by calling out the bully's behaviour, they can swing the balance of power #AntiBullyingWeek

Emmy can't stop her bullies with the help of her friends. Having people recognise something is wrong, rather than thinking it's "not their business" is SUCH a big deal to victims of any sort of bullying or victimisation.
