So I did some digging on International Men's Day and the key organisation behind the Australian iteration of it. Here is a quote from their website:

If men want to deconstruct toxic masculinity and have a day that promotes gender equality, that's also important. But don't pretend IMD is anything but MRA rubbish cloaked in the reinforcement of "traditional family values". The evidence from the horse's mouth is against this.
PS I should add that I went digging because the hijacking of IWD by a corporation so we're getting shit like "each for equal" has led me to always question these sites.
