I have an observation to make: this idea of not informing the public of hazards b/c it hurts the bottom line or might cause panic or unrest- even if the hazard kills some of them- so we can pretend all is normal really isn’t a new idea -
This is just the first time we’ve seen this fucked up policy implemented nationwide.

When it was announced that the NYC air was safe to breathe- it wasn’t after the 911 terror attack. People died of cancers prob akin to that of burn pit veterans
When people in the Gulf of Mexico complained of black rain falling and killing plants and making them sick- they were accused of spreading conspiracy theories at first (it was corexit falling with precipitation)
If you think this bullshit half assed response to covid can’t happen again? Think again. Some people will always value money & pretense of normalcy over taking concrete precautions that might inconvenience them or make the public nervous.
Personally I’d rather deal with a nervous but mostly healthy people than have to visit a grave or see someone thru plexiglass in an ICU. The sociopaths and psychopaths will always be out there. Putting material wealth & convenience over your health and life. Don’t give in.
And stand next to your neighbors - it’s harder for bullies to stand up to a coherent proactive community. Even rich bullies.
