At this point I hate most of you.
I am embarrassed to be a political journalist. This is a profession full of bullshitters who promote nonsensical doomsday hype in the hope of scaring people into staying tuned in, because all they care about is ratings and page views.
I am embarrassed to be a political activist. Most of you eagerly sit around and lap up this doomsday bullshit, because you're more interested in feeling the adrenaline rush of panicking than you are in the truth, or in trying to win.
I am embarrassed to be a liberal. We're right about everything, but we're not looking to win. We're falling for the same exact false narratives that Trump supporters are falling for. We're just as gullible, in our own way, as they are.
I am embarrassed that after four years of Trump running the same simplistic distraction schemes that even a child could see through, most of us still eagerly choose to fall for it every time. We've destroyed him, yet he's still laughing at our gullible asses on his way down.
Most of you are scared children, hiding under your beds and begging the assholes on MSNBC to give you more phony things that you can panic over. Everyone involved in this whole thing is a fucking joke, except for a handful of you who have figured out that it's all bullshit.
You've had FOUR YEARS to grow up and stop being scared children, four years to wise up and stop falling for Trump's every impossible misdirection threat, four years to figure out that MSNBC just feeds you scary bullshit all day for ratings.
Four years. How much time do you need?

I really thought that after we defeated Trump's reelection bid and sent his life hurtling toward the gutter, we wouldn't be scared little children under our beds anymore. But many of you are now more eager to be petrified over him than you were before he lost. It's a SICKNESS.
It's not enough that Trump murdered a quarter million people, broke the economy, put kids in cages, and wrecked our world standing? You also have to pretend he's sticking around for another four years, just to justify your outrage? The things he's actually done aren't enough?
Far too many of you are desperate to keep Trump around, just so you can keep your adrenaline pumping, or whatever it is. On a subconscious level, you don't WANT him to leave. That's why you eagerly cling to any nonsense story about him staying. And that's why I hate many of you.
