Finally dove into latest @SienaResearch poll about the holidays and there are some interesting nuggets.

For starters, 41% of New Yorkers says they're celebrating Thanksgiving outside their immediate household, which is in sharp contrast to latest @CDC recommendations.
82% of New Yorkers say they're not traveling this Thanksgiving, which is in line with @CDC recommendations.
16% of New Yorkers report feeling comfortable with the idea of attending a work party with more than 25 people!

Nobody tell @NYGovCuomo about these hypothetical parties.

Level of comfort highest among young people, Republicans and New Yorkers who believe in Santa.
64% of New Yorkers say they would attend an inside holiday gathering capped at 10 people, which would be in line with @NYGovCuomo's edict.

Lowest level of support is among senior citizens (54%) and highest level of comfort (82%) is New Yorkers age 18-34.
54% of New Yorkers think the "worst is still to come," with regards to #COVID19.

The least optimistic group is Democrats (70%), while Republicans are split on whether the pandemic is going to get better or worse.
63% of New Yorkers say the government should advance policies aimed at containing the virus, even at the expense of the economy.

Highest level of support for this idea is among black New Yorkers (83%).
28% of New Yorkers believe the "government’s priority should be to restart the economy, even if it increases
the risk to public health."

Most support for this economy over public safety is from Republicans (55%)
26% of New Yorkers report that they believe in Santa Claus.

But even more interestingly, is the 10% of Jewish respondents who say they believe in Santa Claus.
