All the lawyers on Twitter are trying to convince folks that what the constitution says will actually be followed. But the constitution is just a piece of paper. It’s meaningless if people ignore it. Trump and the executive branch put kids in cages, some died, others lost parents

In the last four years when has the rule of law mattered to the @GOP or anyone in the executive branch excepting those who became whistleblowers and had their lives torn apart as a result? It hasn’t. So why do folks think it will now?

For that matter, when has human decency and morality mattered to anyone in the executive branch and the @GOP in the last four years? Not once. So yes, the constitution and state laws decide elections. But only if those with police power cede that power in a peaceful transition.
