Alberta has just added even more details to their comorbidity reporting. 57.6% of people who died of COVID had dementia; 23.6% of them had cancer; and as I previously wrote, over 75% of those who died suffered from 3 or more underlying health conditions
87.3% of COVID deaths in Alberta had hypertension, which you'd think is a fact they want to get out there to help people with this condition understand how high-risk they are to a serious outcome. But most other provinces choose not to publicly disclose their comorbidity data.
Here's the newly updated Alberta page: https://www.alberta.ca/stats/covid-19-alberta-statistics.htm
Everyone should check the daily/weekly epidemiological reports from their province & the feds. These reports offer so much more contextual info than simply bludgeoning people over the head with the daily case counts.
