Today my company lost three clients because of my political views. One female CEO pulled all of the accounts from @parkplacepower after reading my tweets. I feel most sad for the Account Executive on my team who lost these deals. Here is some background. 1/7

As many of you know, I founded and run a payments company. We provide credit card processing to businesses small and large. Our sales team is comprised of honest hardworking members of their communities who have no background in financial services. 2/7

If you have a friend who is a doctor or boutique owner and you ask about their payment processing, you’ll get an eye roll. A guy named Rick who resembles a used car salesman sold them their setup, they haven’t seen him since, and they're always confused by their monthly bill. 3/7

This industry is rampant with hidden fees and poor service because of guys like Rick. To change that, I train people who want to achieve financial independence (mostly women) to sell credit card processing. They earn recurring revenue and the businesses are better served. (4/7)

Back to the lost accounts. I feel terribly, but I refuse to stop using my voice. I just can’t look at my children and tell them I stopped speaking up for the greater good in the interest of my own financial success. (5/7)

But that said, I started my company to help small businesses save money while helping women find a new revenue stream. And now I have hurt one of these women because I used my voice. I would love to replace these accounts for her. (6/7)
