The story about the Brazilian midfielder Fred! (A thread)
@Fred08Oficial! Frederico Rodrigues de Paula Santos (Better known as Fred) is a Brazilian midfielder playing for @ManUtd. The Brazilian star was born the 5th March 1993 in Belo Horizonte in Brazil. The 27-year-old midfielder is today one of Manchester United’s best midfielders.
In the start of his career, he spent six years of his childhood in his local club called Atletico Mineiro, after that he joined Porto Alegre in 2009. Just a year later, did the Brazilian maestro join Internacional, a club where he played with a lot of famous players.
Fred was an extremely good player from young age, and he started to impress the coaches when he got his chance for the club in various youth levels where he helped the team win 6 titles just in 2010. Included these six titles the team won Copa Santiago and Copa FGF.
He got his professional debut aged 18, and he just got better and better from that point. On 26th June 2013, Fred joined the Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal that was worth 15 million euros.
Fred was amazing for Shaktar. He learned a lot and started to grow more and more as a person and as a football player. He scored two goals in his competitive debut in the Ukrainian Super Cup against Chornomorets Odesa. In Shaktar, Fred won 10 trophies!!
On the 5th of June 2018, @ManUtd bought the Brazilian man, where they reached an agreement to sign Fred for a reported fee of ÂŁ47 million. The contract was sign to be for 5 years. His first goal for the Manchester club on 22 September 2018 in the 1-1 draw against Wolves.
After many years as a professional player, Fred has grown to be one of the best defensive midfielders in the world. The Brazilian maestro is just getting better and better in the #ManUtd kit imo, and I think he deserves a spot in the starting 11.
