Perennial pro tip: astrology is in the business of wisdom, regardless of the specifics of one's practice. One pretty good measure of wisdom is whether an astrologer frequently goes out of their way to try to discredit other ways of understanding.
I personally don't get it, honestly, and think it reflects pretty badly on people who do that. The universe is very big, our time here is finite, you're not ever going to master everything or find the one correct angle on truth and prove everyone else wrong.
I sincerely wonder this - why not be curious instead? There are so many interesting things to learn from each other, new facets you might not have seen before. Yes, some stuff can just not reflect reality, and critique has its place - but in proportion and productive context.
Seems like every field of study has some of this, but - consider what astrology is about. It's studying life itself & all of its many contents. Try to humble yourself (the generic 'you') in the face of a scope that large; it's not meant to be a weapon in the service of one's ego.
