I'm starting a new product-based business for the first time... if I can keep up with this thread I will... Here's what I set up so far.
1. Name + Logo + Domain(s) ($30)
2. Instagram Account
3. Landing Page to build my list ($29)
4. LLC via Secretary of State website ($100)
5. EIN via http://IRS.gov
6. Stripe & PayPal accounts
7. Will go to the bank to set up my biz account.
8. Next is marketing... I will do
a: A photo shoot
b: A video shoot
c: Create a campaign with specific hashtag
d: Will test "influencer marketing" by seeding the product (i.e. sending an influencer package to 10 influencers I have an existing relationship with)
9. I will set up my store on Shopify.

I did this in two days. Will report back with more. Shoot is set for next month.
I haven't calculated how much the samples cost (lol) but this is clearly important to track. The downside to product-based. 🙄 Prepare for upfront costs. I probably have invested $1,500 - $2,000 in samples. I've made $145 just from 2 people that know me.
I made about $500 so far in pre-sells and I’m not even officially pre-selling. My people are hella supportive and I’m grateful.

I ordered about$500 in new inventory as well. Lol.
