Curious about the psychology of people who don’t have the willpower to stay at home vs. those who see the greater good and can. (Please do not talk to me about people forced to go to work in this. I know. That’s not what I’m talking about)
Like it’s not easy for anybody to stay home forever. It’s not. Everyone is tired and lonely and confused, but some people can take it and some *have* to party or have dinner. Several times at restaurants.
Is it like an inability to comprehend death? Like personal death? They just don’t think it will happen? Is it like people who *have* to drive drunk, like who are *compelled* to?
Is it that wealth gave them more hobbies outside of their home growing up and so they have no interior life? They don’t exist if people don’t see them?
Anyway, I gotta have some coffee and think about something lighter. I don’t think any of us are prepared for the carnage this holiday season is going to bring.
