Sia is making a movie about an autistic girl and there are no autistic people involved. The official wiki also uses person-first language while we in general prefer identity first.

The role should have been played by an autistic person.

We need you to defend that in the same way as when a cis plays a trans person, or white person plays a POC. We deserve that support too. We NEED that support too.
When this trailer first came on my TL I didn't even recognise that what they were trying to portray was autism. Until she flapped her hands.
