The way our governments prolonged the effects of this virus is threatening the safety and integrity of our city. The cases of murder, burglary and domestic violence are through the roof. There are some safe guards but based on this I don't think it's enough.

In the time I have sat here at my desk, there has been two shootings down the street... before noon. People are getting desperate and we need to get to the root of the problem or this is just going to keep escalating.

Our experiences in this huge city are so different from one another. I can't help but notice people are not getting the help they need. Good people who want to do right by their families are not able to get by right now. Good explanation by @hhendersonphd in Houston Chronicle.
