Tighter restrictions coming tomorrow:

Household private gatherings now at household only, with some exemptions.

Retail stores are allowed to only sell essential items only.
These are essential items:

 food, beverages and food preparation products;
 personal care products such as soap and dental care products;
 health-related products such as prescription drugs and vitamins;
 mobility or assistive devices;
 baby and child-care accessories such as diapers and formula;
 household cleaning products, safety devices, batteries and lightbulbs;
 outdoor winter apparel such as jackets and boots;
 personal protective equipment for the workplace;
 pet food and supplies;
 postage stamps;
 cellphones and cellphone accessories;
 parts and supplies for all types of motor vehicles and watercraft;
 major household appliances;
 hunting, fishing and trapping supplies;
 tools and hardware;
 materials for home maintenance, repair or construction; and
 property maintenance products such as shovels.
These are not essential items:

jewelry, flowers, perfume (other cosmetics) consumer electronics, sporting equipment, books and toys.
Exceptions for gathering limits at homes:

- child-care
- health-care and home care
services
- tutoring services
- construction or repairs
- emergencies.
In addition, exceptions will be made for those who live on their own to have one other person visit their home.

This is to be one designated person and not a new person every day.
For retail stores, capacity limits now at 25% (no change) but person capacity is 250 or less (new change)
Onus is on retailers to enforce new rules.
Non-essential items have to be restricted to public access by Saturday morning.

From tomorrow morning, non-essential items cannot be sold.
Non-essentials can still be bought online, delivered or picked up via curbside pickup.
Premier Brian Pallister won't answer why Health Minister Cameron Friesen made a Facebook post yesterday claiming it appeared the province had plateaued with new COVID-19 cases.

That post has been deleted now.
Pallister said Friesen wants to get the numbers down.
Pallister says if two people in a hundred are doing the right thing, it undermines all the work 98 are doing.
Pallister says don't complain to the cashiers when they can't sell you certain items.

These stores are aware that it's not just fines, but closures.
Dr. Roussin now asked if cases have plateaued. Says they haven't see exponential grow, but can't say, with epidemiology, if that is true.
