One thing I struggled with over the past four years, and never really resolved, was how to do useful constitutional and legal analysis (which is really important!) without falling into the trap of fueling a perception the legal equates to permissible or acceptable.

I did my best on this score, and discussed it as a challenge a lot, as did others. But with the flood of issues every single day and sometimes every hour, it was really hard to keep the mooring without sounding like a broken record.
