#NUFCTakeover Assuming #NUFC have invoked arbitration proceedings as per the PL handbook, both NUFC and the PL have 14 days to appoint a Suitably Qualified Person as an arbitrator.
Following this, the 2 parties have 14 days to appoint a 3rd arbitrator to sit as chair. If this doesn’t happen the FA shall make this decision. The chair then has 14 days to give directions for conduct.
The chair shall then set a date. The tribunal has a range of remedies including determine questions of law, order performance of a contract and order a party to do or refrain from doing anything. #NUFC
Alternatively, the parties could agree to a settlement before the tribunal settles the dispute... #NUFC
Another point to note, if the PL refuse to appoint an arbitrator the FA shall make an appointment on their behalf. They’d also be breaching the rules in their own handbook #NUFC
Purely speculating - Blackstone Chambers deleted their post about being instructed by #NUFC. Could it be because being instructed by NUFC would remove the QCs impartiality and the intention was for one of the 2 to be NUFC’s arbitrator in this situation?
