Seeking to consider the perspectives, obstacles, priorities and conflicts within this domain, @MeghanAzad & @Nickel_NC organized a workshop in 2019 "Breastfeeding and the origins of health: Interdisciplinary perspectives and priorities."

We spent several days dialoguing about research priorities & anticipated breakthroughs in breastfeeding &/or HM research; perceived barriers & challenges to achieving these breakthroughs; outlining a plan of action towards supporting the impact of future lactation research.
As per usual, there were essential tensions between navigating the world as it is and building the world we deserve. Folks had myriad perspectives.
