We are very lenient when it comes to Islam. We are so westernised to the point where our brain can't except certain Islamic rulings even when we're faced with evidence from the Quran and Sunnah.
We are continuously focusing on finding excuses to convince ourselves and others that "we're living in different generations to the prophet sAaw" or that certain things "didn't exist" in the time of the prophet sAaw.
We forget that yes, indeed we are not perfect but Islam is perfect and suited for every generation until the day of Judgement. Allah swt said: "This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion".
We are so busy by the influence of the west to the point that we forgot our purpose in this dunya. May Allah guide us all❤️
