In a Gynocentric social order the only socially correct experience is the female experience. Ergo, men are simply 'unperfected' or defective women because their experience is, by default, a disingenuous act.

Masculinity necessarily must become a mask that covers men's "true", feminine, selves. Social constructionism ensures that nothing innately masculine is ever legitimized or genuine. Interpretation of all things through the female experience is the only "correct" interpretation.
It’s important to grasp how men are expected to define their own masculine identities within a social order where the only correct definition of masculinity is prepared for men in a feminine-primary context.
'The Mask You Live' In is the perfect example of this. Men are ridiculous posers. Men are socialized to wear masks to hide what the Feminine Imperative has decided is their true natures (they’re really girls wearing boy masks).
