The Investigation Team originally formed to stop a serial killer in their small town, but ended up losing sight of the truth and trying to end the case as soon as possible. Under Yu’s leadership, they’re able to seek the real truth (see 20).

Naoto’s has trouble coming to terms with the fact that she’s a woman, but when a mystery drives her and Yu to investigate, they work to solve it and Yu ends up protecting Naoto from danger. She realizes she should accept herself the way she is, a woman.

Naoki is constantly pampered and doted on for the tragedy of his sister’s death, but he doesn’t want to be taken for a sad sap because all the stress has made him unable to accept Saki’s death. Yu helps him to remember his sister and he can finally mourn her.
