With the exception of maybe stopping for a coffee, you take the same route to work every day. One day you find that the road is under construction. So, you curse for several moments, but inevitably follow the detour. The detour could be a minor or major inconvenience...
...to you and your family, but you follow it anyways. Every day until the construction, of which you know relatively little to nothing about, is completed. Days, weeks, months later the road construction is completed and you say “Wow, this is a really well done road...
...thank you, to whomever contributed to the improvement of my daily routine”.

In all my years I have yet to see a single driver stop, physically get out of their car and yell at the construction workers because this is their ‘only option’...
...let alone, stop idly in front of the ‘road closed’ sign, shaking their fist and honking their horn, until the task is completed because this has ‘always been their way’. Trust the people who are trying to help you. Think introspectively about how this may benefit your life.
