I had filmed my walk-on role for the next episode about three months prior and never once took it for granted that I could easily end up on the cutting room floor. But as the trailer started to air, I had a thought: "What if I'm in the upcoming previews for 'Awakening'?" ... 2/5
Normally I don't watch any kind of preview trailer for upcoming episodes, but I obviously made an exception this time. In the few seconds I had to prepare myself to watch, I realized the odds were close to zero that I would actually appear on screen. ... 3/5
Anyway, the preview started and I watched closely to see if I might catch a glimpse of myself and then it happened. There I was, with sparks exploding over my head & the ship firing phasers. I could not believe it. It's one of my favorite memories of my entire experience. ... 4/5
I immediately ran around the house screaming "I'M ON STAR TREK!!!"—waking up my wife to scream at her, waking up the cats to scream at them (this was before twitter) and generally just being overcome with joy. An incredible memory. And here it is! ... 5/5
