2008- Scored a goal but missed a penalty. Was awarded MOTM. Arguably the best UCL Final performance of all time.

2009- Was the ONLY threat for United. The players admitted after the game that Fergie set us up wrong.

2014- He had a knee injury, one which he is still feeling the effects of to this day. Barely played in the last couple of months of the season because of it. Even missed the Cup final vs Barca. Completed 90mins just 3 times in 12 games. 1 of the other games lasted 9 mins.

2016- Once again he had an injury. This time it was a hamstring injury. Missed 3 of Real Madrid's last 6 games because of it. Still ended up playing the most important role and scored the winning penalty.

2017- 2 goals. MOTM. Legendary.

2018- Got injured vs Barca on MD35 (technically 36 but had an extra game due to fixture pile up). Came off at half time. Ankle injury. Missed the next 2 matches. Played for an hour on the final day but had to come off again. Couple of good moments but was largely poor
