1/ My fellow Australians: today has been a very sad day. But what we learnt today is nothing new. We need to stop pointing the finger at others, and focus on our own issues. 10% of Australians live under the poverty line, our country was built on an invasion of indigenous people https://twitter.com/globaltimesnews/status/1329423064623325186
2/ We criticize China for “human rights abuses” in HK, which is one of the wealthiest regions in Asia w/ excellent healthcare and education. Why do we care so much about a part of China that is socially & financially well off? We have poverty in our country. Let’s fix that 1st
4/ We claim that China is a threat to us, while our own troops have murdered innocent civilians in Afghanistan. Let’s deal with the evils we have imparted on the world before even thinking about criticizing others.
3/ we point the finger at China over issues in China based on little evidence, while we have an indigenous population that is suffering (and that we all but wiped out), let’s try to figure out how we can at least try to do right by them first.
