...Trump's attack on mail-in ballots and his endless attacks on congresswomen of color, et al, tells you in no uncertain terms that they believe democracy should be limited to only those of their own ideology and race, and that the rest of us do not count as Americans.

And if they would take away something so fundamental to The Republic as a citizen's right to vote, then it's not at all difficult to understand their unrelenting attempt to take away the civil rights of those they deem less than fully American, less than fully human.
