2/n The BrahmasiddhÄnta of Brahmagupta (6-7th Cen) was received in the court of Al-Mansur(8th cen).
Alfazari translated it into Arabic as Az-ZÄ«j āalÄ SinÄ« al-āArab, popularly called Sindhind.

4/n As per book "Alberuni's India" (A Commentary on his work on India), Arabian world were exposed t Astronomy by Brahmagupta.
It also mentions Sindhind, was adaptation from Hindu Work.
