Today I would like to remind you all about the #BoboDoll Experiment
#Thread
It was conducted in Stanford University, in 1961, by Albert Bandura.
He divided prescholl children into 2 groups. 3 & 5 feet plastic dolls were kept with weighted bottom.
Everytime it was hit,
1
The doll bounced back.
1 group of children were shown adults kicking, punching, abusing the doll.
The other group had toys kept with the doll.
After 3 rounds of experiment, it was observed that the group of children that was shown hitting of the doll, exhibited aggressive
2
Behaviour. They punched the doll. Called it dialogues like "Yeah! It's strong.. Keeps coming back for more"
"Punch the nose"
Etc
The other group ignored the doll & played with toys.
Boys showed more aggression than girls.

It was concluded that children mimic what they
3
Observe.
If they are shown violence, they become violent.
Once the character is developed, it's impossible to reverse it.
So!
Encouraging small boys when they box, or hit
Encouraging small girls when they pretend to be fake hurt or asking attention, will integrate it in them
4
So very importantly
For a better society, teach Boys to be compassionate & respectful.

"Macho"
Is a misplaced concept. The strength should be mental & emotional.
Power to defend should be taught judiciously.

Stronger men doesn't mean domineering or hurtful.

Teach ur son
5
To behave wid girls, how u would like ur daughter to be treated

No law can stop crimes.
Bt only values that are inculcated

Let's raise self confident, sensitive men🙏❤
