The rest of us are struggling with the systemic bias that exists in the system that leaves us job and research funding insecure and has led to concerning levels of bullying, harrassment, and discrimination. Today many took to Twitter to express their feelings of frustration 2/n
The tweet captured in the picture above is from the former head of this prominent research centre and it is no wonder that this kind of toxic behaviour has led to a culture where white men reign supreme. All that we are asking for is some f**king self-reflection on how a 3/n
A system that has benefited white men has also been limiting and damaging to everyone not in that category. And we need allies who are in positions of power to call out the system that has worked so well for them and the people who spew the kind of defensive and petty comment 4/n
