As a metal and alternative fan I've been used to the songs I love being censored on MTV, TV and Radio for years. NOFX wrote a song about it.
It's what happens folks, it's not a big deal. If the issue bothers you that much, listen to the original rather than relying on radio

I haven't listened to the radio in decades, and then only at work because it wasnt my choice because the music I like is not commercially viable.

Oh. And using homophobic slurs really isn't something we need to 'preserve'.
