The American Philosophical Association Edinburgh Fellowship offers a visit of 2 to 6 months for APA members working in any area of the arts, humanities and social sciences, especially decoloniality. The American Philosophical Society Fellowship is for 2 - 4 months, with a stipend of up to $6,000 for research in any aspect of the humanities and social sciences, especially decoloniality. Deadline 1 Feb. https://www.iash.ed.ac.uk/american-philosophical-society-fellowship

For Indian scholars under 45, we offer the Charles Wallace India Trust Fellowship (3 months) for arts and humanities research including South Asian film, literature and history. £4,200 bursary +£600 travel grant. Apply by 26 Feb. https://www.iash.ed.ac.uk/charles-wallace-india-trust-fellowship

The Combe Trust Fellowship encourages outstanding interdisciplinary research and international scholarly collaboration with @CTPIEdinburgh (2-3 months). £3,900 stipend for scholars in theology, decoloniality, arts and many other areas. The Daiches-Manning Memorial Fellowship in 18th-Century Scottish Studies offers up to £3,900 for a 2-6 month visit by postdoctoral scholars of all nationalities, in all disciplines, and at all career levels. The Environmental Humanities Visiting Research Fellowship offers a 2-4 month visit to encourage interdisciplinary research, international collaboration & networking activities focusing on the Environmental Humanities. £1,000 bursary. The IASH- @uoessps Research Fellowships bring visiting scholars together with academics in the School of Social and Political Science (SSPS). 2-4 month visit, up to £3,900 stipend available. Apply by 28 Feb. https://www.iash.ed.ac.uk/iash-ssps-research-fellowships

The IASH- @alwaleed_centre Research Fellowship is intended to encourage outstanding interdisciplinary research in the field of contemporary Islam and Muslim culture. £3,500 bursary plus travel grants for 2-4 month visits. Deadline 26 Feb. https://www.iash.ed.ac.uk/iash-alwaleed-research-fellowship

Many of these programmes are part of the Institute Project on Decoloniality 2021-2024, so we especially welcome applications on decolonising the curriculum,
