It is one of 4 problem Ambedkar found in Buddhism , according to him, rebirth without soul concept in Buddhism is contradictory and its needs to be solved

After death (earth,fire,water,air) join the mass of similar elements floating in
(Akash) space.
When the four elements from this floating mass join together a new
birth takes place: and transmigration of consciousness(mind-continum) takes place

Ambedkar's Explanation -
Elements may not be from same body, elements may from different - different dead bodies
And Rebirth happens but NOT rebirth of same person

ActuallyAmbedkar tried to give very logical ,Scientific,good-looking but this is REJECTEDby buddha himself

Orthodox Buddhism don't accept that simply because if we accept this then their is no point of previous births of Buddha upcoming buddha ; which is core doctrine also accepting this point of view limits our Metaphysical , spritual Understanding of self

In his one of vows Ambedkar says that l am having Rebirth - but here he doesn't meant to that REBIRTH,he only refers to his transformation from Hindu to buddhist (I think that much sense Ambedkaraites must have/)
