I promised, but it took me a bit longer because it was harder than I expected, but here the thread!
I tried to find every parallel with the LN in the progressive PV.
I found very interesting things,so before commenting read the various disclaimers!

Many scenes are original anime.
The PV starts with an anime original scene, which is Asuna logging into SAO and realizing that it feels so real despite being a game.
These scenes + the scenes from the previous PV confirm that the movie will definitely start with Asuna in the real world.

And we will see everything, from the moment she wore the nervegear, to the moment (since we also see it in a scene in the PV, here in the pic) she logs into SAO.
I also expect to see some fragments of her "cold" life.

Now.
The first parallel with the LN, which is Kirito's line.
"SAO is no ordinary game, our lives are at stake."
That line is from Volume 1, chapter 9 and it's actually from... Rondo and not Aria. Second Floor.
But DISCLAIMER!
They're not adapting Rondo.
I'll talk about it later.

+ some despair scenes.
And that's actually really interesting, they are literally redone everything, without using scenes from S1, using Asuna's PO.
First time we saw Kirito (and sadly we didn't have First Day animated) now it's Asuna's turn!
(Last pic from S1)

"This is my reality"
These are, most likely, some flashbacks/scenes that happened immediately after learning the news that she would be locked inside Aincrad and Kayaba's announcement
She is alone, Kirito is not yet with her

And this is actually my 2nd favorite part of the PV!
"Everything began here" and they immediately show the Dungeon meeting!
And if you pay attention, the "here" is not "Aincrad" but the Dungeon, because that's where Kirito and Asuna meet for the first time and everything begins.

Thanks to @luckyped10 I realized that this scene is most likely from Kirito's PO!
If you pay attention, Asuna is using a Sword Skill (linear) against a boss who has only a few HPs left, performing an overkill. And that's when Kirito first approaches Asuna.

SPOILER
He sees a person using the "linear" skill (the scene in the PV) in the middle of the dungeon, which reminds him of a shooting star, he is enchanted and approaches the fencer, mentioning the overkill.
So, that scene is 100% from Kirito's PO.

"I have no choice anymore"
This is another anime original line from Asuna!

Some parallels with S1, you can find them on Siggy's thread https://twitter.com/Siglius/status/1327301081303494657?s=20
(can we please appreciate the QUALITY?
That fountain is so pretty and sparkly.

Now, the spicy parts, but first
"The only way now is death or glory, huh?"
this line is from ch 10 and the context is Asuna and Kirito that are directed from Tolbana to the boss labyrinth, but be careful and don't be fooled by the pv.
That phrase doesn't go with Kirito's visual.

The line in the PV happens during the day, as they arrive at the boss lab in the morning, while Kirito, in the visual, is under a starry sky.
So, be aware that the lines you hear in the PV very often don't coincide with what you see.

And now the most controversial part
Asuna "We've always been together"
She is, most likely, talking about her precious rapier but this happens in the 2nd floor, and WE KNOW they're adapting Aria and not Rondo. So these are mine and @Siglius theories since we talked about it a lot

As Siggy said, Aria, compared to Rondo, is really short. So it's really likely that they will foreshadow some Rondo's elements in the Aria movie.
This scene might be :
1)Kirito warning Asuna that she has to change her wind fleuret at some point, she's obviously against that.
This scene might be :
1)Kirito warning Asuna that she has to change her wind fleuret at some point, she's obviously against that.
2)Asuna realizes that weapons -can- break, so, after fighting for so long with her iron rapier in the dungeon (and breaking it) the idea makes her feel bad and this would be a perfect foreshadow to Asuna loosing her rapier in Rondo
3)It can be Asuna dreaming about losing WF
3)It can be Asuna dreaming about losing WF
4)It's totally a new and original scene(and yeah, I checked in the LN everywhere, and she never says those precise lines nor she asks "why")and she's talking about something else. Be aware that, as I said before, the visual in the PV is not necessarily related to the line you hear
So yup. There are a LOT of possibilities. The only thing we are sure of is that only Aria and the first floor will be adapted in this movie.
Next!
Nothing really spicy, the usual "death game where you can't log out" line and Kayaba being really cool with the new design and another proof that they are totally remaking the first day from Asuna's PO
S1 vs Progressive comparison :

Now, my favorite part -for some reasons-
First
"This is the story of a girl who resolved to fight"
Well if it wasn't clear, this film is being presented as "Asuna's movie", but that doesn't mean that we won't see Kirito or that the whole progressive will be like that.

Don't forget that the LN is, for the most part, from Kirito's POV anyway and that's why the pv has so many Asuna's original scenes.
And I think it's with the purpose of telling Aria in a different way from S1, in order not to be repetitive, since we have never seen Asuna's POV.

This is honestly my favorite part in the whole PV and the reason WHY I'm so excited about the new director.
This whole scene in the PV is, most likely, the director's take of that paragraph of the LN.
And, if I'm right, she totally nailed Asuna's character.

https://twitter.com/Siglius/status/1327632189731823622?s=20 read this whole thread about the new director, it's really interesting!
I think, we can be really positive about her, what she has directed so far, is just positive stuff that seems very much in line with what progressive really is.

And I think I've said all I need to say about the PV, sorry if I wrote too much.
Just quick reminders that
1) "Aria of the starless night" is the name of the first floor of SAO and in the visual Asuna and Kirito are located, exactly in the first floor.

2) I don't want to read comments saying that "it will be rushed" "I wanted a series"
It won't be rushed, we are the proof of that.
A movie for the first floor is the best we could ask for, I can't honestly see the reason for wanting a series about it tbh

This is the new action director, he worked for OS too! I'm honestly really excited about it

4) Progressive has been announced as "Anime Project" and "Aria of the starless night" as -movie- so the possibility that they will make a TV series after Aria and Rondo is high
but well, a series of movies is awesome too!
