I tried to wade through the most patronising piece of “writing” I’ve seen by a bearded white priest (surely part of the great oppressed class who are absolutely right to tel women to just sit down and listen quietly?) for a good while and have given up. A few highlights.
Given the discussion at @SP_Justice convener @ProfTomkins this week, “bordering on hate speech” isn’t something that could or should be thrown about at women who disagree with men lightly. But here we are. Also: I changed my mind because I disagree w her isn’t very tolerant.
But wait, is he saying gender dysmorphia IS a mental illness? The purity rainbow brigade will still be after him.
At no point has Frances - or indeed ANY gender critical feminist I know denied trans people exist. *warning* when you start repeating utter bollocks like this, you’ve lost what credibility you had left.

He’s not really thought about that one. Removing the diagnostic criteria of gender dysmorphia means that ANY criminal can and will exploit that. It’s not women’s job to police the behaviour of men who want to change gender - as we are repeatedly told by *checks notes* men.
Gender critical feminists - racists? Go talk to actual black feminists, ones who disagree with you. Women understand we are all same, no matter our colour. Are you going to pretend that somehow transwomen are “like” black women? Or that left wing women are suddenly right wing?
yes there is a LOT of sissy porn behind the increase in volume of transwomen - “girls” - demanding the freedom to take selfie’s w swords/baseball bats in our toilets, where we take refuge w morning sickness, period bleeding, miscarriages, domestic abuse, unwanted attention...
Here’s the problem folks.
Human beings cannot change sex. They can change their external sex characteristics - although that is no longer required to be “valid” and “exist” - which society regards as a change of gender identity (& how they are treated) but sex? No. impossible.

At this point I realised he has no interest in actually listening to women - or let’s be fair, anyone who doesn’t approve of his specious arguments. His tone is familiar - patronising, obfuscatory & disingenuous. He came to tell us why we were wrong.
