1. On International Men's Day raise your voice for fathers kept away from their children by Pakistan's judiciary. Left at the mercy of their ex-wives and their families who want to play judge, jury and executioner.
2. There is no concept of joint custody. No concept of punishing child abuse/parental alienation caused by custodial parent. You are a criminal by default, forced to meet your own children in court in presence of police. Home visitation is a costly privilege.
3. Many men face the burden of spending their entire lives making peace between their wives and mothers. Both grown women. If your wife takes divorce you lose your children too in most cases. No one helps. People tell you to move on and forget "previous" kids.
4. The common argument in favor of denying fathers their rights is that men are the judges who made the rules. In reality women such as Fauzia Viqar are instrumental in passing legislation that deems every woman a weak victim and every man a rich feudal kidnapper.
5. Fauzia Viqar headed PCSW that deemed that dowry may not be fully returned to husbands. Consequently *every* husband loses some portion upon divorce. I have asked countless fathers and lawyers in punjab and everyone says they lose it. Why? Why such generalization?
6. Judiciary works on generalizations. Same are applied to women who are assaulted harassed. They are always liars unless they can prove otherwise.
