2/ I know we’re upset at what happened at the end but listen, it was absolutely necessary. Brett needed to ask that question because if I were her I would have the same concerns. Casey was with Gabby for a long time, and it’s a legit concern she should have
3/ also remember Casey said that he doesn’t know what his love for Gabby is. That’s good! He is struggling because he knows he loves her, but he’s not in love with her. He’s never had to think about it because he’s been basically in love with Brett for so long
4/ the fact that the writers are doing this is a good thing. If he said he still loved her then that’s be different but he didn’t. He said he wasn’t sure. My guess is he needs to figure out the difference between love and being in love
5/ Casey will always love Gabby. He was with her for a long time, they were married. He will always have a love for her, but he needs time to really thing about what that love means. I have no doubt he will understand that he’s IN LOVE with Brett. It’ll happen guy, just breathe
6/ I know this hurts, I’m sad but I also know this is a very good thing. It’s finally the shows way of closing the dawsey chapter and allowing Casey to be with someone who makes him better, who truly loves him. It’s what he deserves. Brett does too
7/ anyways, this story absolutely means this couple will be here to stay. The fact they’re addressing this so soon is great because once they move past this there will be no doubts between them go forward. They are cannon, I can sense it
8/ anyways take a breathe, rewatch the kiss over and over, rewatch fanvids & read fanfics to get us to until Jan. I doubt the writers will drag this out much longer. We’ve waited 2 yrs, a few more weeks won’t kill us. Stay strong Brettsey nation. We got FED today. Focus on that
